How much is the relationship worth? Every couple is unique, so this program is designed to help the couple focus on what matters to them. Rather than being a predetermined set of assignments, this type of counseling is customized to the couple. The first session will assess what areas need the most attention and the direction to go from there. Topics covered may include any of the following:

• Communication & Conflict Resolution
• Roles & Expectations
• Intimacy
• Finances
• Extended Family
• Transitions
• Nurturing each other
• Time & Stress Management
• Spirituality
• Ethnic/Cultural Differences

The initial commitment for this program is 6 weeks. Each 1-hour session is $60, payable at time of service. Some couples may need more than 6 weeks to achieve their desired outcome. Additional session cost to be negotiated as needed.

Christine Lister is certified in the Prepare & Enrich cirriculum. If couples desire to use this program, the cost to take an online relationship assessment is $35 payable by Credit Card. The assessment is designed to be used by couples contemplating marriage, co-habitating, blended family, or single marriage couples together for any length of time.

In some cases, couples counseling is not appropriate. If there has been a history of domestic violence or if one of the partners is active in addiction, other forms of therapy and/or support are strongly recommended.
